The base’s law enforcement team moved very fast, they immediately rushed over to the community where Geng Yan lived.
The two families living above and below Geng Yan had long been scared through and through, and they were already huddling downstairs of the building, waiting for the base’s countermeasures.
"You guys are finally here! Then it’s worth it for my grandmother to have gone over for the sit-in. My house is the floor below Geng Yan’s, I’ve been scared half to death today. Geng Yan’s definitely keeping a zombie at home, there’s been banging sounds coming from them since noon, even our ceiling seemed to be shaking..."
"I heard fighting from downstairs. I don't know whether Geng Yan might’ve gotten scratched by the zombie. He's a third-order ability holder, we’ll be in trouble if he ends up turning into a zombie."
The law enforcement team was greatly alarmed.
They had thought it was just someone spreading a rumor, who knew they would come to hear such shocking news...
The leader of the law enforcement team was silent for a good while. "You guys wait just a moment, this situation is much more serious than I had imagined. I'll go back to report it and ask my superiors to send a few powerhouses over. We’re all just second-order ability users, we don’t have a chance of winning against a third-order zombie."
Immediately following, the base exploded, just as if a drop of water had fallen into a pot of boiling oil.
"Geng Yan has turned into a zombie! Everybody hide, don't go too close to that side."
"Oh gods, the epic battle against a third-order zombie! I'll go out and hide first, staying at home won’t be enough!"
As soon as the news changed hands, it morphed.
Even Gao Xun, who was aware of the inside story, had a stupefied expression on his face.
Wasn’t Anran just going to pretend, and that he didn’t get bitten? Then why has Geng-ge now turned into a zombie too?
The executives of the base attached great importance to this matter and sent a whole group of powerhouses over.
They wanted to control and limit the effects of this time’s battle, the damage wouldn’t be as widespread. They hoped that these people would be able to solve the zombies in the shortest time possible, so as not to bring even greater losses in property to the base.
The pity is on that building, who knows whether it could still be lived in after the great battle.
The leader of the law enforcement team arrived at their door and crept close in tiptoes.
Geng Yan was still training with Ji Anran inside the room, their fight still going on fierce.
"Geng-ge, someone’s coming. Let's have a rest." Whose forehead was dripping with sweat, Ji Anran’s eyes lit up.
Geng Yan stayed his hands. "I'll go open the door."
As soon as Geng Yan turned around, Ji Anran immediately pounced over, directly entangling himself with Geng Yan, pressing Geng Yan down flat on the ground.
Ji Anran's eyes were slightly narrowed as he smiled like a little fox.
"Geng-ge, don't let down your guard against an enemy. You were the one who taught me~"
Geng Yan: "...There are guests here."
"That can wait until they ring the doorbell." Ji Anran turned Geng Yan over and sat astride[5] the other’s waist and asked while looking down at the other, "Give up?"
Geng Yan chuckled without replying a word.
With his spirits dampened, Ji Anran stood up. "I was riding on you and yet there wasn’t even a reaction. Geng-ge, weren’t you still pursuing me just lately... Did you get hurt, get it treated while it’s still early oh..."
The leader of the law enforcement team heard a bit of noise but couldn’t hear it very clearly. He took the key card given by the base and quickly opened both the security door and main door.
Then, he kicked the door open with one hit!
Pointing a gun towards the inside of the house, the leader of the law enforcement team’s sharp eyes swept through, looking for a trace of the zombie...
Geng Yan hadn't gotten infected, still appearing to be like an ordinary person.
As for Ji Anran, the zombie who had sent the base into a panic... His two hands were controlled while he was pressed down on the sofa. He was still struggling against the counter, his bangs wet with sweat.
The watery eyes that the other used to look at him reminded him of the girl who was crying for help as she nearly got taken away by some hooligans.
Geng Yan's other hand was still on Ji Anran's b★ttocks, as if he was planning to forcefully take off Ji Anran's trousers.
Geng Yan, who was so angry that he was about to slap Ji Anran’s b★tt: "...Why didn't you guys knock before coming in?"
[5] Like riding. But I couldn’t find a way to fit it in such that it sounded… smooth… So.

ROFLMFAO 😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteAh, God, I can't anymore 😂 Just imagining the awkwardness in the room makes me tear up from laughing. Geng Yan's courtship methods are indeed too heavy for my taste. 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for the chapters!
😃😃 But it's kind of sweet~ Not that I hope a zombie scenario would actually occur... In our world... 😐
DeleteThank you for reading~
That's why you knock before entering 🙈
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chapter hehe
Yeah~ Like, I understand if it was a normal raid (when the other side are pure humans), but in a zombie situation... I can't factor in how surprise would make that large a difference. I can't imagine the doors being so impressive that it could block out their human scent.
