Within the stairwell, the light was dim as it landed on the bare thigh, making the entire scene appear ambiguous. Her back was against the wall with her neck arched back, covered with thin sweat, causing her long hair to stick to her neck.
Cen Simiao was like a fish short of water, gasping for breath.
"Truly quite amazing."
Her eye makeup was so exceptionally gorgeous as she glanced over. An Zeru raised his eyebrows and the corner of his mouth quirked, the mockery in his eyes was blatant.
"With you like this, you still want to catch an affair? It’ll be dawn if you dally any longer."
Cen Simiao narrowed her eyes. His back was straight and his legs were slightly parted while he stood there in his riveted shoes. There was a sense of unruliness from his facial expression, and the impatience evident on his lips was growing. There was no sense of guilt from leaving someone behind midway at all.
His movements were as if he was ready to head back downstairs.
She called him from behind.
An Zeru frowned, he turned back and there was a flash of something in front of him. Something was thrown at him and he subconsciously reached to catch it. The texture was delicate, he looked down. It was a leather wallet.
Her tone was flat: "Go use a card to get a room."
An Zeru was stunned.
A moment later, he had a dozen room cards in his hand as he stood in the elevator with Cen Simiao. He leaned against the wall with his head slightly lowered, her bare clavicle caught his eye.
This hotel was one of An family’s businesses. An Zeru came here from time to time to stay. What he was going to do this time was like smashing his own backyard. So for fear of being scolded by his old man, he didn't dare to ask the front desk for the elevator’s access.
Thus. they were forced to climb the stairs. He hadn’t expected that Cen Simiao would be so generous that she would directly go get a room on each floor.
He narrowed his eyes. "You’re quite extravagant. Why didn’t you do this from the start?"
Before she could reply, the elevator door opened and Cen Simiao walked out in her heels. An Zeru raised his feet to walk out. Inadvertently, he lowered his eyes, watching as the red soles appeared and disappeared on her black stilettos.
His gaze moved up. Her legs were fair and her waist seemed soft and slender. He bared his teeth and walked quickly a few steps to catch up.
Appearing to be interested in gossip, he took the opportunity to ask some questions.
Her footsteps paused and she turned her head. "A child like you, why do you nag even more than I do?"
An Zeru's words were immediately stuck in his throat, his eyes turned cold as he raised his chin, appearing particularly arrogant. "If you dare, say it again. Who the h★ll’s a child, I’m already 20."
Cen Simiao walked forward a few steps then suddenly turned around.
An Zeru wasn’t able to stop in time and his gait was quite wide so they were suddenly very close, such that they almost ran into each other.
The heat of her breath fell on An Zeru's neck. He backed away uncomfortably but was suddenly seized by his collar.
Cen Simiao slightly raised her chin, her eyebrows showed impatience, but her eyes were extremely charming as they stared into his. "Don’t make any more trouble."
An Zeru sneered and pushed her away. However, he hadn’t been standing very stably and fell forward, accidentally hugging Cen Simiao. In an instant, a warm impression fell on his adam's apple.
The bright red lip mark was very conspicuous.
An Zeru hurriedly stepped back and reached to wipe it, curses falling from his mouth.
Cen Simiao turned and didn't bother to look at him. "Pretentious[1]."
The hand that An Zeru was wiping his neck with immediately froze. Gritting his teeth, he held back his anger and continued walking forward. He was already restless from having to wander randomly with her for this long in the middle of the night.
He turned his head to the side. The light shone on his slightly reddened ears.
Room 9052.
They stood in front of the door, staring right at the door. They both pursed their lips and frowned. All of a sudden, An Zeru leaned on the door and listened carefully to the movement inside. The soundproofing was really too d★mn good.
Can't hear anything at all.
He lowered his voice. "This is already the last room. Is he really in this hotel?"
The system almost died out of anger. It had already told Cen Simiao the room number at the beginning! Yet, she still wanted to look for it one by one and even kept this room for last!
Cen Simiao nodded firmly.
"Knock on the door."
An Zeru swallowed, straightened his shoulders, and knocked firmly on the door. Taking a glance back, he saw Cen Simiao taking a step to the side. He took back his hand. "What do you mean by this?"
Cen Simiao answered with distaste, "I don't want to see their disgusting appearance."
An Zeru pursed his lips and snorted, proceeding to knock on the door even louder.
A while later, there was finally a movement. The voice was muffled with a hint of annoyance: "Who is it? It’s already the middle of the night."
An Zeru was already impatient. "Your ancestor."
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps inside quickened. As soon as Gu Yu opened the door and was about to scold back, he felt the door being pushed open and Gu Yu almost fell down. He steadied himself, then looked up to see who was here to cause trouble.
The result, he became stunned. "Zeru, why are you here?"
An Zeru didn’t look at him since he entered the door but only scanned the room with his head tilted, his muscles tense as if he was ready to engage in a fight. But all of a sudden, he heard someone call his name. Glancing over, he felt a sense of tiredness in his heart.
This one wouldn’t be easy to beat up...
